Advice on how to clean your stainless steel Viking Appliance from the nice folks at Viking. Sue Bailey, the Viking Manager of Product Development of Major Appliances let's us in on her way of getting your Viking Range or other stainless steel Viking Appliance back to showroom form.

For everyday use, start with hot, soapy water (dishwashing liquid works) and a soft cloth or sponge. For this step, it's ok to go both with and against the grain of the stainless. Wipe dry with a towel. Don't worry if this makes your stainless look a little dull at first.

For optimum appearance, use a stainless steel cleaner to remove smudges and fingerprints and follow up with a stainless steel polish to make your Viking Stainless Steel Appliance shine.

WOW! Stainless Steel Cleaner acts as both a cleaner and polish with just one application. Apply WOW! to a clean, soft cloth, or paper towel. WIPE ON the metal surface. WIPE OFF excess.

With a clean, dry towel, buff the surface, going with the grain. Soon your Viking Appliance will look just like it did in the showroom.

Cleaner and polish should not be used daily. Once every couple of weeks should be adequate.

Important Note: If anything acidic lands on your stainless steel (lemon, tomato sauce, etc.), clean up immediately because it will stain.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE this Stainless Steel Cleaner!

We know it sounds corny, but the first time we tried this on a Viking Refrigerator, we really did say, WOW!"  It cleans and polishes with very little elbow grease.
